For the second year in a row, Cal State San Bernardino’s cheer squad captured first place and earned superior awards for its performance at the United Spirit Association Summer Camp in Anaheim.

One judge commented, “We wish we could bottle your enthusiasm and sparkle and share it with other cheer squads,” according to SuzAnne McDonald, adviser to the team.

Coyote Class Notes

Travis Huxman '92

Dr. Travis Huxman (B.S. biology 1992, M.S. biology 1998), has been selected as director for Biosphere2 and the B2 Earthscience research program.  Biosphere2, managed by the University of Arizona and open to the public, is one of the world's most unique facilities dedicated to the research and understanding of global scientific issues. 

B2 Earthscience's research initially will focus on developing a greater understanding of the fate of water in our world in the face of global environmental change. Travis also serves as an associate professor at UofA, in the department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

Travis is a CSUSB 2004 Distinguished Alumnus.
