CSUSB’s graduate entrepreneurship program ranked fourth in the nation among 700 college entrepreneurship programs included in a survey by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. 

This is the third consecutive year that the university, through its College of Business and Public Administration, has been listed as one of the top schools in the country for entrepreneurs.

Prop 1D would fund CSUSB projects

Instructional and laboratory equipment that would help CSUSB better meet the region’s demand for well-trained teachers and nurses would be funded if California voters approve Proposition 1D on the November ballot.  If passed, the bond measure would generate nearly $13 million for the campus to upgrade, renovate and equip facilities.  Read more…

“Secrets of the Dead” to mark Fullerton Museum 10-year anniversary

Renowned for its collection of ancient artifacts, the Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an Egyptian-themed party on Saturday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m.  Guests will experience exotic food and a “you-are-there” exploration of death and burial in ancient Egypt.  Read more...

New computer engineering degree offered

To help address the rising demand for electrical and computer engineers in the region, a new bachelor’s of science degree in computer engineering is being offered by CSUSB beginning this fall.  Systems software engineering “is the fastest growing computer engineering category in the Inland Empire and San Diego,” says Arturo Concepcion, former chair of the computer science department.  Read more...

Men’s basketball opens Nov. 15 at Arizona State

The men’s basketball team will take on Pac 10 member Arizona State University Nov. 15 in Tempe, AZ, to kick off the 2006-07 season.  Unlike exhibition games played in recent years against the likes of USC, Loyola Marymount and San Diego State, this game counts.  Read more...

Coyote Class Notes

Nick Cataldo '77

Nicholas Cataldo (B.A. psychology and social science 1977, M.A. special education 1983) will teach a one-day course, A Sojourn Through the San Bernardino Valley:  1776 to the Present, through the university’s College of Extended Learning (CEL). 

A local historian and author of numerous articles and books pertaining to the history of the Cajon Pass and the San Bernardino Valley, Nick’s class will include a walking tour to historic sites associated with the arrival of the Spanish explorers, missionary priests, rancheros, citrus growers, the railroads and the military.
