CSUSB delegations win top honors

CSUSB students have again focused national and international attention on the university through their academic performances at the Model League of Arab States competition in San Francisco (April 10-13) and the National Model United Nations in New York (April 14-19).  The students were led again this year by CSUSB political science professor and Middle East expert, Dr. Ralph Salmi.

Arab League:  The ten-member team competed against 17 other delegations and captured their thirteenth consecutive "Outstanding Delegation" award, as well as "Outstanding Delegate" awards in four of five committees.

United Nations:  Representing Turkey, CSUSB's 24-member team was recognized with both the "Outstanding Research Award" and their eighth consecutive "Outstanding Delegation Award".  This year's competition consisted of over 2,950 university students from around the world ...more about this and other news at the CSUSB Alumni Association website.

Accounting Alumni to host networking reception

The Department of Accounting and Finance cordially invites alumni and their guests to attend the 2nd Annual Accounting Alumni reception, Wednesday, June 4, at the San Bernardino Hilton.  Catch up with your old classmates, visit with favorite professors, and network with other successful CSUSB alumni.  Space for this event is limited, so please log on to the CSUSB Alumni Association website and RSVP by May 23...more about this and other news at the CSUSB Alumni Association website.

Alumni Professors invited back into the classroom

Twenty-eight of CSUSB's most successful alumni returned to the classroom for the Alumni Association's 2nd annual Professor for a Day, Wednesday, April 30.  Alumni were welcomed back as guest lecturers, sharing their hard-won career lessons and real-world perspective with today's students.  Alumni Professors reconnected with their former instructors, interacted with some of CSUSB's top students, and networked with other Cal State grads that have "made it" in their chosen field.

Alumni Professors visited classes from Accounting to Theatre Arts...more about this and other news at the CSUSB Alumni Association website.
