CSUSB’s Model United Nations student delegation earned top honors this year at the National Model United Nations Conference in New York City.  The team, which represented Iraq in this simulation of the Model United Nations, brought home “Outstanding Delegation” and “Outstanding Position Paper” awards.  The university’s MUN program, under the direction of Dr. Ralph Salmi (political science), consistently ranks first in this annual conference, which draws over 200 teams from colleges and universities around the world.

Coyote Class Notes

Robert T. Bouttier '77

Robert T. Bouttier (B.A. management 1977) was named president and chief operating officer for the Automobile Club of Southern California.  Bob, a 32-year veteran of the Auto Club, will oversee the daily operations of the largest AAA-affiliated motor club in the country.  Starting as an insurance claim representative with the Auto Club, Bob has held increasingly responsible positions, including marketing director, and senior vice president of marketing and member services.  He serves on the board of the Los Angeles Sports Council and also is a director of AAA Life Insurance Company.
